What is agentic AI automation? (and how it differs from no-code and chatbots)

The short definition
Agentic automation uses AI agents that read, decide and act at each step of a workflow. Instead of following a fixed set of rules, the system understands context, makes a judgment, takes an action, and adapts as conditions change. It handles the parts of work that used to require a person to think, not just click.
